THE 20 PROMPTS

COLD OUTREACH (1-5)

  1. "Write a cold email from a freelance [YOUR SKILL] to a potential client in [INDUSTRY]. Their pain point is [PROBLEM]. My unique angle is [YOUR DIFFERENTIATOR]. Length: under 100 words. Tone: direct, confident, human. Include a specific CTA."

  2. "Write a LinkedIn connection message to a [JOB TITLE] at [TYPE OF COMPANY]. I want to offer [SERVICE]. Keep it under 300 characters. No pitching in the first message."

  3. "I found a job posting on [PLATFORM] for [ROLE]. Write a cover letter that stands out. Avoid generic openers. Start with a specific insight about their business or need."

  4. "Write a cold DM for Instagram to a [TYPE OF BUSINESS OWNER] who posts about [NICHE]. I offer [SERVICE]. Keep it casual, under 3 sentences, no emoji overload."

  5. "Write an email follow-up to a prospect who didn't respond to my first outreach 5 days ago. First email was about [TOPIC]. Keep it short — 2-3 sentences, add a new angle or value."

PROPOSALS (6-10) 6. "Write a project proposal for a [PROJECT TYPE] for a client in [INDUSTRY]. Scope: [BRIEF DESCRIPTION]. Timeline: [X WEEKS]. Budget: [$AMOUNT]. Structure: Overview, Deliverables, Timeline, Investment, Next Steps."

  1. "Write an executive summary for a freelance proposal. The client needs [OUTCOME]. I will deliver [DELIVERABLES] in [TIMELINE]. Make it confident and client-focused."

  2. "My client said the budget is too high. Write a response that holds my price while offering flexibility — e.g. a phased scope or reduced deliverables."

  3. "Write a value section for my proposal explaining why [PRICE] is justified. Focus on ROI and outcomes, not on hours worked."

  4. "Write a professional but warm closing section for a proposal that creates urgency and includes a clear next step — without sounding desperate."

FOLLOW-UPS (11-15) 11. "Write a follow-up email 3 days after sending a proposal that got no response. Keep it short — check in, add one new piece of value, and make it easy to say yes."

  1. "Write a follow-up to a prospect who said 'maybe next month'. My goal is to stay warm without being annoying. Remind them of the value I offer."

  2. "Write a 'just checking in' email that doesn't sound like a 'just checking in' email."

  3. "The client went quiet after our call. Write a reconnect email for 2 weeks later. Reference something specific from our conversation to show I was paying attention."

  4. "Write a polite final follow-up — the last message before I stop pursuing this lead. Leave the door open for the future without burning the bridge."

OBJECTION HANDLING (16-20) 16. "A prospect said: 'We might do this in-house instead.' Write a reply that acknowledges their concern and repositions my value without being pushy."

  1. "A client said: 'We've worked with agencies before and it didn't go well.' Write a response that addresses their concern and builds trust."

  2. "A prospect said: 'Can you do it cheaper?' Write 3 different responses: one that holds the price, one that offers a smaller scope, one that offers a payment plan."

  3. "A client is slow to sign the contract. Write a message that creates gentle urgency — referencing my availability — without being aggressive."

  4. "A prospect said: 'We're not sure we have the budget.' Write a response that reframes the conversation around ROI and helps them see this as an investment."
